for litter management with workshop participants.



Caleb Sinclair, Rowan County, moderated an open discussion on litter control.


Chelsea Arey, Coordinator for Wake County's 86it program, discussed the challenges and
accomplishments involved with developing and implementing the program.


Deb Aja, Western District Supervisor, talked about statutory authority for local enforcement programs.


Susan Heim, NCDEQ, discussed the process of ordinance and enforcement program development.


Jenny Wheelock, City of Lenoir Planning Director, shared her experience with
developing an overall code enforcement program.


Stephen Berry, Senior Environmental Specialist, Forsyth County, discussed 
enforcement from the perspective of voluntary compliance.
