NCSWEOA is a nonprofit association comprised of solid waste technicians, specialists, and administrators, environmental health technicians and specialists, code enforcement officers, law enforcement personnel and employees of state and local regulatory agencies with interests in solid waste management.
Any individual who has responsibilities for responding to solid waste complaints and/or enforcement of solid waste rules, ordinances, or laws should consider joining.
We promote public health and safety by keeping abreast of the latest developments in waste management technologies, promoting recycling, and disseminating information concerning solid waste management.
Solid Waste Officers, Code Enforcement Officers, Environmental Health Specialists, State Employees– NC DEQ, NC DDPEA, SBI Agents, Planning Directors, Sheriff Deputies, and other professionals whose work includes responsibilities addressing solid waste concerns and/or enforcement of solid waste rules, ordinances, or laws throughout our state. Job duties may include part-time involvement in solid waste enforcement activities and not necessarily the primary function of nominees work requirement.
NCSWEOA is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization governed by a constitution and bylaws. At the 2017 annual membership meeting, updates to the bylaws were approved. Download the updated constitution and bylaws.
