North Carolina Solid Waste Enforcement Officers Association
It is with much regret that we have made the decision to cancel our conference, scheduled for October 15 to 18. The Shell Island Resort has incurred significant storm damage from Hurricane Florence and has communicated to us that the venue will not be accessible.
We wish also to be sensitive to our members, sponsors, speakers and guests who have been personally impacted by this storm. NCSWEOA is an organization that is committed to supporting our collective mission to environmental code enforcement and will be working diligently on providing training opportunities, including CEUs for SWANA, NCSWANA, and REHS certifications, in the near future. Watch for more details in your inbox and here on our website.
Those of you who have already paid for conference and/or workshop registration will be entitled to full refunds. We will be in touch with you soon to coordinate the details. Any deposits for hotel reservations at the Shell Island Resort will be refunded to your credit cards directly from the hotel. This process should begin within the next few days and will happen automatically – you will not need to contact the Shell Island Resort yourself.
On behalf of the entire Executive Committee, we thank you for your support and for your continued interest in NCSWEOA. We look forward to seeing you at upcoming workshops and future conferences.
